Interactive Session on SIH 2023
TechCom, the official society of CSE Department conducted an Interactive Session on SIH on 15th September 2023. The session took place in Lab No 114. The Aim of the session was to guide students on how to participate on the Annual Smart India Hackathon conducted by the Government of India.
The session was hosted by Ansh Goyal as he kicked of the event with the introduction on Smart India Hackathon and some lines on Engineers as the day was also marked as Engineers Day. The Session was guided by 3 Alumnis of MAIT, Ms. Syeeda Reeha Quasar, Mr. Ashish Papani & Mr. Prakhar Sharma. All the speakers connected with the Participants online as a Meeting was conducted and projected on the screen in the lab. Throughout the session they shared their invaluable thoughts and insights of the Hackathon. They also provided the participants a clear roadmap on how to win such competitions.
After the Speaker session, the participants were free to engage with the speakers as they asked their queries away. Eventually, the session was addressed by Prof. Namita Gupta (HOD CSE) since she shared her vast experience with the participants and helped them navigate through this tough challenge.
To conclude, the event was a massive success since all participants were highly encouraged and motivated after the session. The participation force was more than 50 which ensures the success of the event .
The event was possible under the able guidance of Dr. Namita Gupta, Ms. Kavita Saxena, Ms. Deepti Gupta and Ms. Karuna Middha. The event was headed by Ansh Goyal from B.Tech 3rd year CSE dept.
