Workshop on Blockchain
“Building your first smart contract on Tezos Blockchain”
TechCom, the official society of CSE Department, in collaboration with Tezos India conducted a Workshop on Blockchain on 17th November 2023. The workshop took place in Lab No 131-132 from 11.30 AM onwards. Tezos India was track sponsor of HackwithMAIT 4.0. The Event was a massive success. More than 50 students registered for the workshop which was open for all the colleges.
The event started with an introduction by Sarthak Aggarwal (Student Coordinator ,Techcom). He introduced our speaker Mr. Simarpreet Singh (Developer Relations, Tezos india). Mohammed Khundmeer Siddiq (Vice president of Techcom) and Nawed Ali (Promotional and social media head of Techcom) honored Mr. Simarpreet Singh by presenting plant.
The event was then overtaken by Simarpreet Singh, as he interacted with audience and taught them about Blockchain Technology and how to create a virtual environment for building their first smart contract on Tezos Blockchain. The participants built 3 contracts and deployed those under the guidance of Mr. Simarpreet Singh. He was very energetic and were resolving each participant’s error separately. The session was smoothly conducted in the presence of our faculty coordinator Ms. Kavita Saxena, Ms. Deepti Gupta and Ms. Karuna Middha. The workshop lasted for approximate 2.5 hours.
After the successful completion of workshop, all the students received stickers. The top performers of the workshop also received caps.
The event was possible under the able guidance of Prof. Namita Gupta, Ms. Kavita Saxena, Ms. Deepti Gupta and Ms. Karuna Middha.
