SMART’O’HACK 2022

25^th MARCH 2022

The Inaugural Ceremony of SMART’O’ HACK 2022 started at 10:00 AM on 25^th March 2022. The ceremony was well co-ordinator and executed by the faculty coordinator Ms.  Neetu Garg and Ms.  Savita Sharma.

The event started with the encouraging words by Prof. Neelam Sharma, Director-MAIT. 

Dr Neelu Nagpal, IEEE Smart Cities Ambassador introduced Smart Cities and promoted IEEE SC vision, following with the sequence of the event Ms. Kavita Saxena introduced SMART’O’ HACK 2022 to the audience with the video on glimpses of the event.

The event followed with an expert talk by Prof. Rajveer Mittal, HOD EEE, on the Role of Energy on Smart Cities. Vote of thanks was given by Prof. S S Deswal.

Rules and regulations of the event along with the execution of the event from 25^th to 26^th March 2022 was introduced by the Faculty Coordinator Ms. Savita Sharma.

The event was declared opened by the Organizing Chair Prof. Namita Gupta, HOD CSE, the event Smart O Hack 2022.

There were around 70+ attendees which included the participants, faculties, HODs and students.

26^th MARCH 2022

Day 2 started on 26^th March 2022 with the final round where eight teams short-listed for the  round presented the ideas in front of our esteemed judges Mr. Amit Chopra (Director at Natwest), Mr. Sandeep Loomba(Officer at Federal Government Canada Post), Dr. Hassan Alhelou( Director, smart energy System lab,TU) and Prof. Vijayant Agarwal(HOD, BDFT, NSUT).

Valedictory ceremony started with the expert talk by Prof. Pierluigi Siano, Dr. Hassan Haes and Prof. Vijayant Agarwal. The results were announced by Prof. Neelam Sharam, Director MAIT. Followed by the event the winning teams presented their idea. Smart O Hack was concluded by the vote of thanks by Dr. Namita Gupta, HOD MAIT.

Final round and Valedictory session were well coordinated by the faculty co-ordinators Ms. Deepti Gupta and Ms. Zameer Fatima.
