A Five-Day Workshop on “Hands-on Training on ERP” for Non-Teaching Staff of all the departments from October 3rd to October 8th, 2024
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering,MAIT organized a five-day workshop on “Hands-on Training on ERP” for the non-teaching staff of all departments at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, held from October 3rd to October 8th, 2024.This week-long workshop was designed to equip staff members with essential skills to effectively manage their daily tasks using the college’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The primary objective of the workshop was to provide participants with hands-on experience of using ERP, ensuring they could navigate and utilize it properly. The program was headed by Key Speaker Mr. Vidit Tyagi, and featured interactive sessions focused on key areas, including ERP navigation and dashboard usage, attendance, leave Management etc.
The workshop’s success was the result of the dedicated efforts of the organizing committee, led by Prof. Dr. Namita Gupta, Head of the Department (CSE) and Organizing Secretary of the Workshop. The workshop was coordinated by Faculty Coordinators Ms. Shallu Juneja and Ms. Karuna Middha, along with Committee Members Ms. Kajol Dahiya, Ms. Chesta, and Mr. Akshay Mool.








Online session on LaTeX for third and final-year CSE students on 26th September 2024
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering successfully organized an informative and interactive session on LaTeX for 3rd and final-year students. The event was held on September 26th, 2024, and was led by Assistant Professors Ms. Ruchi Goel and Mr. Anupam Kumar from the CSE department. The session aimed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to LaTeX, a high-quality typesetting system, widely used for the creation of technical and scientific documentation. The session also covered LaTeX functionalities such as creating mathematical equations, formatting research papers according to journal guidelines, The main goal was to familiarize students with the importance and usage of LaTeX in academic writing, especially in drafting research papers, theses, and project reports. Students were encouraged to start using LaTeX for their ongoing research work, final-year projects, and report writing.
