Six-Months Internship/Major Project Evaluation Guidelines for 8^th semester students (12 to 16 weeks) w.e.f. 2021 Batch

Pre-Internship/Major Project - 10 Marks

Documents to be submitted in Department within 15 days of start of Internship/Major Project – upto 15 January 2025

• Submit Internship offer letter from the Industry / Supervisor / Major Project Guide. (5 marks)
• Submission of a learning plan and expected outcomes of Internship/Major Project. (5 marks)

During the Internship/Major Project – 30 Marks

Students should maintain and submit all the listed below documents as per the timelines mentioned

• Maintain Weekly Logbook of tasks and reflections.             (05 marks)
• Fortnight progress report for periodic reviews.                                      (15 marks)
• Monthly Feedback from the Industry/Supervisor / Major Project Guide. (10 marks)

Post-Internship/ Major Project – 60 marks

Final assessment by external examiner and the documents to be submitted at the end of Internship/Major Project, after 12 – 16 weeks or as per the academic calendar.

• Internship/Major Project Report.                    (25 marks)
• Internship completion certificate from the industry / Supervisor / Major Project Guide (15 marks)

• Final Presentation and viva voce.            (20 marks)

The Intel AI Lab has been established in Block 1, CSE Department. The CSE Department at MAIT, in collaboration with Intel, is organizing a Workshop on Intel Unnati AI Course Training Program, scheduled from 02-06 December, 2024.
