The B.Tech. Programmes offered at MAIT follow the semester system. Each programme is divided into eight semesters to be completed in a minimum of Four Years. In every semester, courses related to the branch are conducted with theory courses supplemented with practical work in each subject. In the final year four elective courses have to be taken up by the students in their field of study & interest. Apart from this every student is required to take up project work applying the skills acquired during the courses they have studied & submit the dissertation report to the institute. In-house training after the second year & In-plant training after the third year has also to be taken up for the fulfillment of the requirements for the award of B.Tech. degree.

At the Department of CSE, we believe that education goes beyond academics. Institute and Department have various student clubs, societies and the student Chapters that cater to different interests, ranging from coding and robotics to entrepreneurship and social service. Welcome to Alumni Club
The institute takes immense pleasure to organise different Alumni activities including Alumni Reunions of different batches comprising about 5000 alumnus inviting them back to their alma matter. Alumni Relation Group (ARG) has been formed by the institute, which consists of Deans, HoDs and senior officials. The Group is responsible to initiate necessary action to organise Alumni Reunions of different batches.
The meets are instrumental in the exchange of knowledge and experience sharing between the alumni and the institute for achieving excellence in the academics. The special drive initiated by ARG for organising Alumni Lecture series, workshop and seminar. The alumni are involved in supporting our Training and Placement cell for placement and internships
