A student counselor plays a vital role in the educational department. The job of the faculty does not involve only teaching, but giving advices and providing guidance to the students about their personal or academic life. Young adults need guidance and support, especially when it comes to dealing with academic, personal, parental and social pressures, then a counselor helps students with their guidance and experiences. They act as advocates for students’ well-being, and as valuable resources for their educational advancement.
A student counselor is responsible for guiding the students regarding their career decisions and helping them understand their potential and provide help to pursue their goals.
Helping the students understand their skill sets and provide them ways to utilize it.
Holding various sessions with the students to identify the problems, that the child faces and try to understand their troubles and advise them.
Working as a mediator between the student and the college authorities, if there is an argument and tries to resolve it.
SEMINAR/WORKSHOPS
ANDROID WORKSHOP
A One day workshop on “ANDROID” was organized by the department of CSE in association with ISSAC IT lab solution Pvt. Ltd. On 24/08/2018 in room no. 996 from 9:30am to 4:00pm for third semester CSE students.
The speaker of the workshop was the Mr. Sandeep (chairman and founder of ISSAC IT lab solution Pvt. Ltd.). Around 42 students attended the workshop. Students got there laptops with android studio installed.
Workshops was divided in to two sessions (morning and after lunch). Workshop started with the detailed description of android studio in the morning session and after the lunch practical’s where performed on the android studio.
At the end of the session feedback was taken by the students.
