IOSD Android Session
First Session of Android was conducted by the mentor Naveen Lakhchaura (IT) on12th September, 2018 at 3:30 pm in Room no-141(CSE Block). In all 30 students of first year attended the session. In the Session Students were Guided with History of Android and Future Opportunities in Android Development. Students were made aware regarding scope of Android in Open Source (GSOC). Student were also given a intro on XML, java that are main language for android development. Student were told the basic Structure of an Android Project like Manifest File, Java file, XML file, styles and various other. They were also introduced with the knowledge of backend used in android like SQlite. Student were Introduced to the terms like SDK, Gradle, Emulator, Widgets. Towards the end of the session students were Curious to get their hands more on Android development and explore the world of android development.
