IOSD PairScript Prodigy
Held on 25 April 2024, in the Techsurge & Mridang 2k24, Annual Techno-Cultural Fest Of MAIT, IOSD PairScript Prodigy was a unique competition, teams of two worked together to tackle challenging Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) problems in a pair programming format. Each team consisted of two members: one coder and one debugger.
Round 1: Coding
In the first round, one member of each team take on the role of the coder. The coder was tasked with writing the code to solve a given DSA problem without running it. They must carefully plan and implement the solution, considering the efficiency, correctness, and readability of their code. The coder will have 40 minutes to complete their coding task.
Round 2: Debugging
In the second round, the roles were reversed, with the other team member becoming the debugger. The debugger's job was to carefully analyze and debug the code written by their teammate in the previous round. They must identify and fix any errors or bugs present in the code, ensuring that it runs correctly and produces the expected output for various test cases. The debugger will have 30 minutes to debug the code.
Participation:
A total of 22 teams participated i.e. 44 participants in this offline competition. Out of which the top 2 teams received the following prizes.
1. First Prize: TNM Winner’s Trophy and Rs. 1100
