EVENT REPORT
AI PROMPT BATTLE
TechCom, the Official Technical Society of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT), successfully organized AI Prompt Battle, an engaging prompt-writing competition, on 24th February 2026 from 1:10 PM to 2:30 PM in Lab No. 131. The objective of the event was to introduce participants to the importance of effective prompt writing while demonstrating how carefully structured prompts can guide AI systems to produce more accurate, innovative, and meaningful responses. The event received an overwhelming response, with more than 90 registrations and over 50 active participants competing enthusiastically. Students from different semesters participated with great energy, making the competition both intense and intellectually stimulating. The winners of the event were honored and awarded prizes by Prof. (Dr.) Namita Gupta, Head of the Department, CSE, along with the faculty coordinators Ms. Kavita Saxena, Ms. Deepti Gupta, and Ms. Karuna Middha. Their encouragement and support greatly motivated the participants and highlighted the department’s commitment to promoting innovation and technical excellence among students. The event reached remarkable success under the continuous guidance and mentorship of Prof. (Dr.) Namita Gupta (HOD, CSE) and faculty coordinators Ms. Kavita Saxena (Assistant Professor, CSE), Ms. Deepti Gupta (Assistant Professor, CSE), and Ms. Karuna Middha (Assistant Professor, CSE). Their leadership and encouragement played a crucial role in inspiring students to participate actively and explore the innovative field of AI prompt engineering. The successful execution of the event was made possible through the tremendous efforts of the student coordinators Aryan Agrawal, Sanchita Mishra, and Rashi Garg, who worked diligently to plan and manage every aspect of the competition. Their dedication, along with the collaborative support of the entire TechCom team, ensured that the event ran smoothly and achieved its intended objectives.
