TechCom Orientation

TechCom, the official technical society of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, MAIT, organised an orientation session for the 2nd year CSE students on 20th August 2025 in lab No. 131-132 from 1:10 PM to 1:40 PM. The orientation session was a great success with 50+ active participation.

The session began with an engaging introduction to TechCom society and its benefits for the students. It also included the benefits of being a part of the core team and a brief rundown of the events organized last year, showcasing the society’s achievements and opportunities.
The session was addressed by Himanshi Jain, President of TechCom. She explained the Vision and Mission of the society and emphasized the personal and professional growth that the members can gain. The session was also addressed by Yuvraj Dhingra, Treasurer, TechCom. He motivated the students to actively participate in the society’s initiatives.
The session further included valuable insights from third-year team members, who spoke about their experiences and the benefits of being actively involved in TechCom. The orientation concluded with a lively Q&A session conducted by Aviral Jain, Vice President,TechCom, where students had the chance to clarify their queries and interact directly with the team.
After the informative session, the interview form was rolled out, giving interested students the opportunity to apply for membership in TechCom. The orientation was a great success under the guidance of Prof. Namita Gupta (HOD, CSE), Ms. Kavita Saxena (Assistant Professor, CSE), Ms. Deepti Gupta (Assistant Professor, CSE), and Ms. Karuna Middha (Assistant Professor, CSE).
