Orientation of TechCom

TechCom, the official technical society of the CSE department, MAIT, held its orientation session for the students of batch 2023-2027 on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. The session took place from 12:50 PM to 1:30 PM in Lab No. 131 & 132, with over 75 students in attendance.

The orientation began with an insightful overview of TechCom  including its workings and the benefits of being part of core team by Ms. Himanshi and Mr. Saksham (student coordinators TechCom). They also gave a brief rundown of the events organized last year, highlighting the society's achievements and the opportunities it offers to its members. Mr. Ansh Goyal, President of TechCom, shared insightful thoughts in his speech. He shared his experiences from the previous year, emphasizing the personal and professional growth he gained through his involvement in the society. Third Year Team members also shared their experiences, offering a valuable perspective on the benefits of active participation in TechCom. The session concluded with a Q&A segment.

After the engaging and informative session, the interview form was rolled out, giving interested students the chance to apply for membership in TechCom. The orientation was a great success under the guidance of Prof. Namita Gupta(HOD, CSE), Ms. Kavita Saxena(Assistant Professor, CSE), Ms. Deepti Gupta(Assistant Professor, CSE) and Ms. Karuna Middha(Assistant Professor, CSE).
