Inaugration of 6-days Staff Development Program (SDP) titled "Office Automation and Digital Productivity Tools"
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (MAIT, Delhi) successfully inaugurated the six-day Staff Development Program (SDP) titled "Office Automation and Digital Productivity Tools" on 27th July 2026. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from 30 non-teaching staff members from various departments of the institute.
The inaugural session commenced with a warm welcome to all dignitaries, participants, and the esteemed resource person. The program aims to enhance the digital competencies of non-teaching staff by providing hands-on training in office automation tools and modern digital productivity applications.
The resource person for the day, Ms. Rupali Ahuja, Assistant Professor, Maitreyi College, University of Delhi, was felicitated with a sapling by Dr Ashish Khanna Khanna Ms Chesta Agarwal and a memento by Dr. R. K. Choudhury as a token of appreciation for her valuable contribution to the program.
The technical sessions focused on Google Workspace for Smart Office Operations, covering Google Drive and Google Docs. Through live demonstrations and practical exercises, participants learned cloud-based file management, document sharing, collaborative editing, and efficient documentation practices for administrative work. The interactive sessions encouraged active participation and provided practical insights into improving workplace productivity using Google Workspace.
The first day concluded with an engaging discussion and question-and-answer session, setting a strong foundation for the upcoming sessions on digital productivity, office automation, and AI-enabled administrative workflows.
