FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ON GENERATIVE AI

Department of Computer Science & Engineering MAIT, New Delhi in collaboration with Microsoft Azure Developer Community and Reskilll successfully organized 5-Day Faculty Development Program on "Generative AI" from 8th July to 12th July 2024. With a total registration of 132 faculties across India, this Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Generative AI provided participants with a thorough understanding and practical expertise in advanced artificial intelligence techniques, with a special emphasis on Generative AI technologies.

The program witnessed the presence of technical experts on July 8,2024 and July 9,2024 at MAIT, Delhi. Mr. Rohit Sardana, Cofounder & CEO, Reskilll enlightened faculties with current trends in technology and how as faculties our role is important in shaping the technical work force. Mr. Naman Bansal, Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft delivered two days technical hands-on session on Generative AI, Azure Open AI Service and Responsible Generative AI.

From July 10,2024- July 12 ,2024, the program was conducted at Microsoft Office, Gurugram.Mr. Siddharth Chopra, Generative AI trainer and Researcher gave hands-on session on various tools and techniques in Generative AI which can be helpful in image generation, research and academia.Ms. Sanya Duggal, Partner Go-to-Market & Strategy Manager at Microsoft enlightened the audience with her thoughtful words connecting the industry needs and academia.

The combined and tedious efforts of the organizing committee headed by Prof. Dr. Namita Gupta, Organising Secretary FDP and HOD, CSE, Ms. Kavita Saxena (Convenor), Mr. Anupam Kumar (Convenor) and faculty coordinators Ms. Deepti Gupta, Ms. Zameer Fatima, Dr. Deepak Gupta, Dr. Farzil Kidwai, Ms. Garima Gupta, Mr. Ajay Tiwari, Dr. Sudha Narang, Ms. Karuna Middha, Ms. Shallu Juneja, Ms. Sakshi Jha and Mr. Akshay Mool made the FDP a great success.
