Workshop on Etherlink
TechCom, the official technical society of the Computer Science & Engineering Department, MAIT, organized an insightful online workshop titled "Etherlink" in collaboration with Tezos India on 14 October 2024 at 5:30 PM. With more than 60 participants, the event was a great success. Mr. Simarpreet Singh from Tejos was the speaker for the workshop. He covered essential topics such as cryptographic hash functions, hash addresses, block numbers, nonce numbers, and the overall workings of blockchain technology. He provided a detailed explanation of Etherlink, guiding participants on how to successfully deploy on the platform and explaining its significance within the broader blockchain ecosystem. He shared real-world examples of blockchain applications across industries such as finance, competitive examinations like GATE, and supply chain management. This not only showcased the versatility of blockchain but also emphasized its growing impact on modern-day technology.
The event was a great success under the guidance of Prof. Namita Gupta(HOD, CSE) and faculty co-ordinators Ms. Kavita Saxena(Assistant Professor, CSE), Ms. Deepti Gupta(Assistant Professor, CSE) and Ms. Karuna Middha(Assistant Professor, CSE). TechCom continues to foster learning and innovation through events like these, empowering students with cutting-edge knowledge in the tech domain.
