Webinar on Cyber Security

TechCom, the Official Technical Society of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT), successfully organized a Cyber Security Webinar on 27th March 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in an online mode. The objective of the webinar was to create awareness among students about the growing importance of cybersecurity, digital safety, and the evolving nature of cyber threats in today’s technology-driven world. The session was delivered by Mr. Pankaj Sachdeva, Cyber Security Scientist at Cert-In, MeitY. The webinar covered key areas such as hacker mindsets, exploit techniques, digital hygiene, privacy protection, and cyber laws, making it highly informative and relevant for students. There were 25+ active participants. The inclusion of real-world examples, practical demonstrations, and an interactive Q&A segment made the session insightful and engaging, allowing participants to gain clarity on cybersecurity concepts as well as career opportunities in this domain. The webinar was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Namita Gupta, Head of the Department, CSE, along with the support of faculty coordinators Ms. Kavita Saxena, Ms. Deepti Gupta, and Ms. Karuna Middha, whose encouragement played a vital role in the successful organization of the event and in promoting technical awareness among students. The successful execution of the webinar was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the student coordinators Aryan Agarwal, Sanchita Mishra, Anurag Mishra, and Khushi Matta, along with the entire TechCom organizing team.
