3rd International Symposium on Smart Cities Challenges, Technologies, and Trends (SCCTT-2024), was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering on November 29th, 2024, at the Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi. A total of 165 papers from across the globe were submitted, with 11 outstanding contributions presented and published in the esteemed Scopus Index CEUR workshop proceedings. Mr. Dhirendra Bansal, Senior Principal Scientist at CSIR(HRDG), delivered an insightful keynote on "Smart Cities Making Technology Simple for Everyone". Prof.(Dr.) Rahul Katarya, at DTU, Delhi and Dr. Ruchi Goel, Dr. Nisha Aggarwal, Assistant Professor in CSE at MAIT, were Session Chairs. CSIR, Government of India, was Main Sponsor of the event. CEUR Workshop Proceedings, Germany, was publishing partner. The Institution's Innovation Council, MAIT was technical partner. Symposium was supported by IEEE Smart Cities .The event was inaugurated with grace by Prof. Neelam Sharma, Director, exemplifying the institutional commitment to fostering knowledge and innovation. Prof. Namita Gupta, HOD, CSE, and General Chair of SCCTT-24, delivered a motivational address, encouraging faculties to delve deeper into research. The success of SCCTT-2024 was made possible by the meticulous efforts of the organizing team. Their dedication and collaborative spirit were instrumental. SCCTT-2024 emerged as a vibrant platform for the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas, fostering innovative solutions.
