Event :- CodeHeist

                  “Decode the CHALLENGES, Craft the SOLUTIONS”

TechCom , the official technical society of the CSE Department, held a captivating coding competition titled " Code Heist " on the 13th of October, 2023, from 10:30 am onwards in Lab No 132. The primary objective of this event was to immerse students in the world of coding while nurturing their participation in such academic competitions. The event featured two rounds, each offering its unique challenges. The first round, hosted on the Coding Blocks platform, entailed problem-solving questions. Followed by the second round, conducted on the Coding Ninjas platform, which consisted 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) focused on aptitude and data structures and algorithms (DSA). The event proved to be an electrifying success with more than 40 active participants. The event was made more remarkable by the presence of eminent alumna and former General Secretary of TechCom , Mrs. Syeda Reeha Quasar , who currently works at Google. Her presence added an extra layer of excitement, making the event truly mind-blowing.

The event was possible under the able guidance of Prof. Namita Gupta, HOD, CSE, and faculty coordinators Ms. Kavita Saxena, Ms. Deepti Gupta and Ms. Karuna Middha. The tremendous efforts of the TechCom team along with the event heads Vivek Kaushal, 3rd year CSE, and Khushi Kataria, 3rd year CSE, made the event a great success.
