The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, MAIT successfully organized an AI powered webinar on cybersecurity, “Git/Github ” on 19 February 2026. The session was headed by Mr. Rajat Jain, SDE-2 at Microsoft, who focused on teaching students about relevant tools in Git/Github.With 80+ registrations the webinar witnessed an enthusiastic active participation of 60 students, who gained valuable insights from an industry expert, stayed updated on the latest trends, and had the opportunity to network.The mentorship session helped students learn AI powered coding for faster development, taught them how to use Git/Github from zero to pro. The interactive session encouraged participants to ask questions and discuss real-world team workflow. Mr. Rajat Jain shared practical solutions, and projects making the webinar highly engaging and informative . It fostered stronger connections between MAIT students and industry leaders, ensuring that future engineers are well-equipped to tackle upcoming challenges.
This event was a great success under the invaluable guidance and support of Prof. Namita Gupta, HoD CSE, MAIT, Ms. Kavita Saxena (Assistant Professor, CSE, MAIT), Ms. Deepti Gupta (Assistant Professor, CSE, MAIT), and Dr. Karuna Midha (Assistant Professor, CSE, MAIT). The dedication and efforts of the entire team of TechCom and student coordinators Anurag Mishra, Nakul Khera, Khushi and Amrit (TechCom Second Year student coordinators played a crucial role in the seamless organization and execution of the event.
