Intel Unnati Online Workshop – April 2025

A 5-day Intel Unnati Workshop was successfully conducted in online mode from April 2 to April 7, 2025, offering a deep dive into modern AI technologies and practical applications as a collaborative initiative between Intel and the Computer Science and Engineering Department of MAIT. The workshop was designed for students interested in exploring the server ecosystem and AI development using Intel’s OneAPI software stack.

The sessions were led by Mr. Suhaas D, AI Engineer at EdGate Technologies, who served as the workshop's lead trainer. His expertise and engaging delivery helped students gain a solid foundation in neural networks, natural language processing and Intel-based AI development tools. The workshop was organised under the competent direction of  Dr. Namita Gupta (HoD, CSE MAIT). Mr. Anupam Kumar, Dr. Prerna Mann and Dr. Moolchand Sharma served as the faculty coordinators for the program. The workshop witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 100+ students participated in the event.

The workshop offered a balanced mix of theoretical concepts and practical assignments, enabling participants to not only understand core AI concepts but also apply them in real-world scenarios using Intel technologies. Students actively engaged in Q&A sessions, received valuable insights from the trainer and gained practical exposure to current trends in AI and server-based computing which marks another step forward in fostering AI skill development among students through Intel Unnati’s initiatives.
