MAIT organized 5-day Generative AI Bootcamp with Microsoft Azure Developer Community and Reskilll
Department of Computer Science and Engineering, MAIT in association with Microsoft Azure Developer Community and Reskilll had organized a 5-day Generative AI Bootcamp in online mode titled "Empowering Developers with Generative AI" from 29rd April 2024 – 4th May 2024 to enhance student’s ability in achieving academic excellence, personal development, and career readiness.The bootcamp concluded with an industry visit to Microsoft Office on 4 May 2024. Mr. Anil Sharma, AI applied scientist and manager headed the bootcamp with his knowledgeable and interactive hands-on sessions.More than 150 students from MAIT registered themselves for this bootcamp.It covered the topics Introduction to Generative AI: Fundamentals and Applications, Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs),Variational Autoencoders (VAEs): Concepts, Natural Language Processing (NLP) with Generative Models, Image Generation and Style Transfer Techniques, Creative Applications of Generative AI in Art, Design, and Music Ethical Considerations and Future Trends in Generative AI. Siddharth Chopra, creative AI specialist and Shirish Jain, Data Scientist concluded the bootcamp by expert talk in Generative AI with 90+ participants present at the Microsoft Office.
The collaborative effort of the organizing committee headed by Prof. Namita Gupta, HOD, CSE, MAIT, faculty coordinators Ms. Kavita Saxena (Asst. Prof, CSE, MAIT), Ms. Deepti Gupta (Asst. Prof, CSE, MAIT), Ms. Zameer Fatima (Asst. Prof, CSE, MAIT), Mr. Anupam Kumar (Asst. Prof, CSE, MAIT) and Ms. Sakshi Jha (Asst. Prof, CSE, MAIT) and student co-ordinators Ansh Goyal, 3rd year, CSE, Sarthak Mittal, 3rd year, CSE, Apurba Koley, 3rd Year, CSE and Manya, 3rd year lead to successful execution of bootcamp.
