WORKSHOP ON “Blockchain”

Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized One day workshop on “Blockchain” in association with Coding Blocks on 4^th October 2018 in Room No 401A from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for 3rd Semester students.

Dr. Namita Gupta, Head of Department, CSE, Mr. Ashish Sharma, Assistant Professor, CSE coordinated the event which was attended by 51 students of the CSE Department.

The session was headed by Mr. Anuj Garg from Coding Blocks.

A large number of students of second year, CSE attended the workshop with great enthusiasm. Workshop started with brief explanation of blockchain, bitcoins, ledgers, smart contracts and white papers. Students got hand on experience in Hyperledger (a platform for creating blockchain applications). The workshop was very interactive and students showed keen interest in Learning. The speaker was open to questions and shared his experiences of latest trends and technologies, thereby making the session quite interactive.

Sushant Verma, Radhika Bansal, Sanket Singh, Sarthak Jain, Swati Singh, Nitin Mittal and Anjali Joshi were Students Coordinators from CSE Department.
