Workshop on 

Ballerina Programming Language & Choreo-Internal Developer Platform

Department of Computer Science & Engineering,MAIT organized a 4 hours hands-on workshop on Ballerina Programming Language & Choreo-Internal Developer Platform by WSO2 Sri Lanka in association with Microsoft Azure Developer Community and Reskill on 23 February 2024 in Main Auditorium MAIT. The workshop was open for all the B.Tech Students of MAIT. With more than 140+ participation the event was a great success. The hands-on workshop was headed by Azkar Uddin Khan, Cofounder at Reskill, Nirupama Singh, Head of Technology, Reskill, Ramith Jayasinghe, Director of Engineering, WSO2, Raveen Rathnayake, Senior Software Engineer, WSO2, Chathuranga Siriwardhana, Associate Technical Lead, WSO2, Tharik Kanaka, Technical Lead, WSO2, Waruna Jayaweera, Technical Lead, WSO2 and Kavishka Fernando, Developer Advocate, WSO.  The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Namita Gupta, HOD CSE. The students were successfully able to deploy the hotel reservation system project using ballerino language on Choreo-Internal Developer Platform. Participants were awarded with prizes for successfully deploying their project.

The entire workshop was made a great success by the tremendous efforts of the Organising committee composed of Ms. Kavita Saxena (Assistant Professor, CSE, MAIT), Ms. Deepti Gupta (Assistant Professor, CSE, MAIT), Ms. Zameer Fatima (Assistant Professor, CSE, MAIT), Dr. Sudha Narang (Associate Professor, CSE, MAIT), Ms. Neetu Gupta(Assistant Professor, CSE, MAIT), Ms.Karuna Middha(Assistant Professor, CSE, MAIT)and Ms. Sakshi Jha (Assistant Professor, CSE, MAIT). The day and night efforts of the student coordinators Ansh Goyal (CSE), Sakhsham Singh (CSE), Sarthak Mittal (CSE), Apurba Koley(CSE) and Manya(CSE) made the event a successful event.
