"Pitch Your Idea" Summit 2023 on October 20, 2023

In an exciting and inspiring showcase of innovation and entrepreneurship, the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) in collaboration with the Career Development Cell and MAIT-IIC successfully organized the "Pitch Your Idea" Summit 2023 on October 20, 2023. The event aimed to provide a platform for budding student entrepreneurs to present their groundbreaking ideas and projects to a distinguished panel of judges and potential investors who were ready to provide financial support.

The participating teams left no stone unturned as they presented a wide array of innovative products and solutions spanning various domains. Some of the highlights included ideas for drones, construction solutions, AI chatbots for workouts, carbon emissions reduction technology for homes, a production proposal for a cartoon series, a personalized AI learning platform, a portable CNC machine with diverse applications, an advanced salon booking platform to enhance customer experiences, and a personal assistant robot designed to streamline material transportation across industries. Moreover, the event witnessed innovative proposals aimed at simplifying electric vehicle charging processes.

The "Pitch Your Idea" Summit 2023 garnered support from distinguished investors who took a keen interest in the presented ideas. Notable names such as Dr. Aditya Vij, C.A. Archit Aggarwal, Mr. Saransh Gupta, Mr. Nipun Walia, Mr. Vivek Singh Chandel, Mr. Gaurav Trivedi, and Mr. Arun Garg graced the event. Their presence added immense value to the summit, further fueling the enthusiasm and determination of the participating students.

After a rigorous evaluation process, the judges selected the winners who demonstrated exceptional creativity and ingenuity in presenting their ideas. The winning teams and their respective prize amounts were as follows:

1. ChargeWise - Led by Garv Baweja, received a prize of INR 11,000/-
2. A.T.O.M ROBOTICS - Led by Saheem Ahmed Khan, received a prize of INR 5,100/-
3. Ajnabee - Led by Saksham, and ATOM - Led by Shlok M Sharma, both received a prize of INR 2,100/-

The event not only celebrated the innovative spirit of these young minds but also showcased the commitment and dedication of the organizing team, led by Prof. Namita Gupta (HOD, CSE), and the Conveners, Mr. Ashish Sharma and Mr. Amit Gautam (Assistant Director, CDC), along with the Faculty Coordinators : Mr. Alok Sharma, Ms. Ruchi Goel, Dr. Yogesh Sharma, Ms. Savita Sharma, Dr. Sandeep Tayal, Dr. Jyoti Sharma , Ms. Neetu Garg, Ms. Mini Agarwal and Ms. Sakshi Jha and student Coordinators.
