WORKSHOP ON “ANGULAR JS”

Department of Computer Science and Engineering organised One day workshop on “Angular JS” in association with Brain Mentors on 15^th February 2018 in the CSE Department from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for the students.

Dr. Namita Gupta, Head of Department, CSE, Mr. Ashish Sharma, Assistant Professor, CSE coordinated the event which was attended by 86 students of the CSE Department.

The workshop was on “Angular JS” to increase the grasping power of the students over the Web Development Sector. The workshop started with the great enthusiasm among the students. Workshop started with the motivational words from the Head of the Department Dr.Namita Gupta who encouraged the students and helped the students in pointing out where the students are lagging in their software development skills management.

The session was conducted by Mr. Amit Srivastava, Head and founding members of Brain Mentors. He started the workshop by discussing the needs of Java Script in the Web Development sector. He discussed the Single Page applications Vs. Multi Page applications along with the need of Front end development. The ES basics and various design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVW were also discussed. An attractive shopping cart page was built using angular JS as a brief introduction to the single page applications.
