International Symposium on Smart Cities Challenges, Technologies, and Trends (SCCTT-2023), was organised by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering on January 11th, 2024, at the Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi. A total of 150 papers from around the globe were submitted, with 9 outstanding contributions presented and published in the esteemed Scopus Index CUER workshop proceedings. https://ceur-ws.org/Vol-3584/. Prof. Anurag Jain from USICT, GGSIPU, delivered an insightful keynote on "Importance of Cyber Security in Smart Cities," shedding light on the critical role of cybersecurity in urban development. Dr. Shivani Jain, Senior Data Analyst at AICTE, and Dr. Ashish Khanna, Associate Professor in CSE at MAIT, were Session Chairs. CSIR, Government of India, was Main Sponsor of the event. CUER Workshop Proceedings, Germany, was publishing partner. The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) was Technical partner. Prof. Neelam Sharma, ( Director) inaugurated the event with grace, showcasing the institutional dedication to nurturing knowledge and innovation. Prof. S.S. Deswal, (Dean) and Prof. Sachin Gupta, (Dean R an I) were also there during the event's inauguration. Prof. Namita Gupta, HOD, CSE, and General Chair of SCCTT-22, delivered a motivational address, encouraging faculties to delve deeper into research. Her words resonated, inspiring a commitment to advancing knowledge in the field. The success of SCCTT-2023 was made possible by the meticulous efforts of the organizing team.
