Orientation program of CSE Third Semester Students
On August 30th, 2024, a second orientation program was conducted in Lab: 145/146, Block 1, to welcome the third-semester undergraduate students of the Computer Science and Engineering. Mirroring the successful event held the day prior, this orientation aimed to seamlessly integrate these students into the department's vibrant culture and inspire them to actively participate in research, innovation, and various technical events. Prof. Namita Gupta, the Head of the Department, once again delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of critical thinking, punctuality, and proactive engagement in departmental activities. Faculty counselors and in-charges of technical societies were also present, providing valuable insights into the available resources and encouraging students to explore societies aligned with their interests. A lively interactive session facilitated meaningful engagement between students and faculty, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. By offering a comprehensive introduction to the department's culture and expectations, this orientation program successfully empowered these budding engineers to embark on their academic journey with confidence and enthusiasm, ready to pursue research opportunities, contribute to the technical community, and achieve their full potential.
