Hack-With-MAIT 2.0

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, MAIT, organised Hack-with-MAIT 2.0, a 24-hour virtual hackathon on 26th and 27th October, 2021, under the effective guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Sharma, Director, MAIT and Prof. (Dr.) Namita Gupta, HoD CSE Department, MAIT. Hack-with-MAIT 2.0 brings together the young coding community to apply their knowledge in various spheres of technology which will give them opportunities to discover and adapt new technologies to cope with the change and overcome the current and future challenges of our industries.
Contributing to Hack-with-MAIT’s aim to revolutionize learning, Over 34 different ideas were submitted in six different tracks of Education, Healthcare, Security And Surveillance, Agriculture, Pollution, Smart Cities. These 34 ideas were assessed by panels of expert academicians from our institute. Twenty–Four teams were shortlisted for Round 1. These 24 teams were categorized in the groups of eight teams to present their ideas with PowerPoint Presentation. Judges gave their suggestions which they need to incorporate in their original ideas for next round. The esteemed judges for the hackathon were Prof. Rajveer Mittal, Prof. M.L. Sharma, Prof. Amita Goel, Dr. Neeraj Garg, Dr. Bhoomi Gupta, Dr. Neelu Nagpal, Dr. Basant Kumar, Dr. Nishu Gupta, Dr. K.C. Tripathy , Dr. Deepak Gupta, Dr. Namita Johar, Ms. Nidhi Sengar, Mr. Yogesh Sharma, Mr. Bhaskar Kapoor, Dr. Ankita Gupta.
The participating teams presented their ideas after incorporating the suggestions from judges in Round 2. Eight teams were short-listed for final round, where they were assessed and guided by our teachers and industry experts. The audience witnessed multitude innovative ideas with potential to make significant contributions towards the development of mankind, three of which won final prizes.
First Prize: Rs. 10,000/- won by Team abraca_data from Delhi Technical University, Delhi.
Second Prize: Rs. 7,000/- won by team CoviCure from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Third Prize Rs. 5,000/-: won by team Cyduck from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi.
