National Commission for Women (NCW) held a seminar on “EMPOWERING WOMEN THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP” on the occasion of 26^th Foundation Day on 31^st January 2019, at “Stein Auditorium”, Indian Habitat Centre.

The girls from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology were cordially invited to be part of such a big platform. The seminar started at 9:30am with lighting of lamp along with all the guests and girls from various colleges all over Delhi. Welcome address was delivered by Smt. Rekha Sharma (Hon’ble Chairperson, NCW), Shri Rakesh Srivastava (secretary, MWCD) and Dr. Virendra Kumar (Hon’ble Minister of State, MWCD). After listening to above inspirational stories it gave the girls motivation and strength to think big their ideas and dreams. A panel discussion on “Empowering Women Through Entrepreneurship” was held discussing various issues they faced, how to be self-confident, etc. Following that a question and answer session was done in which various doubts of all girls were taken into consideration like “Parents say that it’s to do job rather than a start-up as after marriage it’ll easy to handle”, “How life of entrepreneur changes after marriage”, “Finance problem”, etc.

The seminar turned out to beautifully giving motivation to future of all talented girls.
