WORKSHOP ON “Machine Learning Using Python”

Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized One day workshop on “Machine Learning Using Python” in association with Brain Mentors on 13 September 2018 in Lab 131/132 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm for 3rd Semester students.

Dr. Namita Gupta, Head of Department, CSE, Mr. Ashish Sharma, Assistant Professor, CSE coordinated the event which was attended by 60 students of the CSE Department.

The session started with a welcome speech by Dr. Namita Gupta, Head of the Department, CSE. The session was headed by Mr. Ravi from Brain Mentors.

          A large number of students of second year, CSE attended the workshop with great enthusiasm and got hand on experience in basics Python, Basic of Game Development in PyGame, web Scrapping and web cloning using beautiful Soup, Data visualization in Matplot Library and Pandas, Face recognition using open CV and KNL . The workshop was very interactive and students showed keen interest in Learning .The speaker was open to questions and shared his experiences of many hackathons and thereby making the session quite interactive.

Sushant Verma, Radhika Bansal, Sanket Singh, Sarthak Jain, Swati Singh, Nitin Mittal and Anjali Joshi were Students Coordinators from CSE Department, who also helped the students in Installation and execution of programs.
